After 35 minutes on the air, The Avianca Flight 042 lands on this Airport that is between mountain ridges, If the Pilot is not ready for any unexpected sheering wind front, you are heading for calamity or death. That's why so many pilots check the weather conditions and keep flying in circles until safety is met.
Christina who left her mom and daughter Isabel broken hearted, have to leave the plane for a check up...passengers start talking about a certain woman that was caught carrying drugs in one of her belongings.
Some say that is a normal thing in this 'Business', they keep the anti drugs team busy with one and let five more human 'mules" pass undetected to a final destination of drug smuggling.
Christina takes a picture of her daughter on the terminal and see a difference. "Oh my..! She is already six and time really fled. I wish I could take the next plane back... But I need the money for her medicines and her Leukemia, that really could take her life sooner." Christina kneels down not caring what the passengers would say and starts praying...

Christina's mom and daughter are also praying in this bicentennial Catholic church. Both are crying on the benches and grandma holding a Rosary Look up to a miraculous Jesus Christ Replica. Isabel, just keeps herself in denial. She didn't even make it to school. "My mommy!! Please holly Virgin Mary, Watch over my mom.
I promise to pay more attention to this Sunday Sacrament..." Her grandma is about to pass out, but realizes that no one trustable is around and her only granddaughter would be in danger. They hug each other and walk out from the Church in pain.

EL DORADO AIRPORT
SAME TIME
Adrianna, the blond girl of 23, was also crying seeing the clouds before landing on this terminal at the Colombian Capital. She noticed slumps and then complex red buildings before her arrival to this City Capital.
A rest stop of 45 minutes that takes forever and she is worried about her pet who should be in the Cargo area under the passenger's seats. She is still numbed to any emotions but, suddenly from nowhere she hears a 'Vallenato', a typical Colombian rhythm.
Is a song that she used to hear over and over with her ex boyfriend. Finally she breaks down and starts crying like a seven years old girl. She looks into her purse for napkins. More passengers start coming in and get into their assigned seats. Most are heading back to Madrid and to their destinations in Europe.
Adrianna realizes that her mom put a handwritten letter in her purse and she opens it: "Never thought for a moment that you 'hija mia' would leave your mom behind. I gave you life and this is life. I know you are a beautiful woman now, but in my heart you are still my baby. Was hard enough to write these lines but harder is the fact that you are leaving me..."

Marcela, the Pocahontas like from our story, lands in Caracas. Her flight was in an Avianca carrier also, but this time has to transfer herself to a connecting flight via British Airways.
