Born in Omaha in 1978, duh! Became interested in hubpages after a referral from a residency colleague. I'm a Cardiac Surgeon since 2003 and did my residence at UNMC, Omaha. I usually write about Siblings, soulmates and Medical updates. I love to cook, I love to read other people's hub and most of all I love paranormal. Actually I was saved from the beginning of my own existence. A donor, a baby donor gave his heart and saved my life. I had a congenital heart problem and was never going to make it... well don't want to go in details. So far I'm working on my sixty hub capsule. KIM'S DAD

Henry took an early package retirement from the Welding steel mill near Omaha. His heart problems didn't get any better. He is 61 now and felt so much his wife's death back in 2009. "Rita sweet teddy bear, do you think this is life... without you?" I feel bad going by myself to play Bingo at our Local Church. Do you think I should go on?" He inhales from his bronchodilator and coughes uneasily. 30 yrs of ardous work are catching up with him. Kim has promised to come to see him worried about his health. She decides to visit him on a labor day weekend...

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH

2011

Kim arrives with her son who is 10. She had issues of her own. Married her school sweetheart at 18 without her parents consent. But all ended 6 months ago. She got separated and found out about another woman and that was it for her marriage of fourteen years. Being single again made her go back to a soulsearching kind of mood. So she decided to look for her roots and in a way she wanted to find her mom's wedding bands as an amulet. A perfect sign of her singleness: a self made necklace with her parents' wedding bands.

" Oh dad, look at you! You must've lost easily 25 pounds. Why you never told me about these? And now asthma?"

Henry looks at a wall and sees something

Is his wife who misses him, and waves good bye with the kiss he knew. "I don't feel right, I need to rest" Henry sits himself and passes out on his couch. Kim desperately screams his dad's name. Her son also calls him, "Pop-pop!"

Kim dials 911 and get the paramedics right away. Her studies of CPR made her help her dad lay down on his side and made sure he didn't swallow his own tongue. Henry is admitted to a local Hospital, but the Physician in Charge is a 45 years old family doctor. The only chance? Fly him to:

1 HOUR LATER

The chopper arrives on top of the building and is met by Joseph Harmond, Resident Heart Surgeon and has already checked his records. Kim just cries desperately and embraces her son. Seeing her father on a portable stretcher is too much load for a day. He is rushed into the roof elevator. "Nice to meet you Kim! I'm Doctor Harmond and I want to make sure your dad is in good hands, asserts Joseph"

" This is a nightmare! My mom is gone... and now my father is about to leave us too. Please do your best...he is my dad and you know..." Joseph feels something in his ears. But he has a mission and he has to focus.

UNMC

HEART PAVILLION

3RD FLOOR

Henry is getting an open heart operation. Doctor Harmond, the baby that Henry gave a chance to live, is now saving his own life. Doctor Harmond doesn't have the slightest idea who the patient is.

"Damn it!" says Joseph in anger. Henry's heart beats erratically, but gets stabilized. "This off-pump bypass surgery has taken all my strength...his myocardium didn't help us much either!"

What is in his brain...Joseph's brain?: A normal kid who became a doctor, his mother raised him well and his manners are beyond normalcy.

Zachiel joins the scene and lifts Henry's arm. The connection is reached. Joseph holds henry's hand and...

" Sir, you did good! Don't worry, relax... rest and you will come back like new"

The room is filled with angels who kneel down and pray.

LATER

ON THE WAITING ROOM

Kim is exhausted, her son came with a sandwich from the Cafeteria. She didn't feel like eating at all. Suddenly, Doctor Harmond shows up. "He is stable right now, You have a strong father and he will be fine. Actually, he will need to stay with us for 48 hours. We don't need a postperfusion syndrome..." Kim is about to hug him but stops. Her son recognizes his face. "Mom! I think, this is the Doctor from your site" Kim looks at Joseph again and exclaims, "are you 'heart-h78' From hubpages?"

"Yep! Why? am I that famous?"

" Nice to meet you Joseph, I'm a colleague... better known as 'Kim-hall' on hubpages"

"What the...! small world isn't it?"

"Yes, it is"

Kim's son sees a feather blown from outside and he grabs it! "look mom! and angel lost part of his feather...Ha ha ha!"

We scoop away and see the boy on the window, looking into the sky. We get up above the clouds and reach...upon a star!
