Cartagena De Indias -- When Women From Colombia Are Too Hot To Handle
A RESORT WITH A RICH PAST
Cartagena de Indias is one of the Northern Most city from Colombia. Founded in 1531 by Spanish settlers, it became a booming Seaport for seafarers, Pirates, Vice-royalty administration and slave trading point. Known today for being one of the best resorts on Caribbean shores. Average temperatures can fluctuate between 88-90 degrees fahrenheit.
From the time of emancipation from the Spanish rule in 1811, Cartagena experienced its own melting pot. In March 1741, the city endured a large-scale attack by British and American colonial troops led by admiral Edward Vernon. A total of 186 invading ships tried to take the City that was defended by just 6 Spanish vessels. Weather and luck were on the Spaniard side. But we wonder, how many English survivors stayed at Cartagena? We believe that around 20% of those foreign invaders stayed and made Cartagena its final Home. After the Hitlerian Genocide, many Jewish survivors emmigrated to Caribbean shores, Like Caracas, Santo Domingo, and Cartagena, of course.
From Lebanese, to Basque and back to Russians
After World War I, South America was seen as the new haven away from the perils from the old world. Some immigrants made it to Rio Brazil or Argentina. But others chose the Caribbean.
Ever heard of Venezuelan Beauties that mostly make it to the top ten at the Miss Universe Pageant? Well Cartagena de indias (Cartegena of the Indies) is just a couple of hundred miles from Caracas. Women are a mixture of races that blended with a rich culture added to its paradisiacal temperatures. Colombian Women by nature are approachable... and have that beauty... seen in Shakira, or even Sophia Vergara. On the other side we have Adriana Lima and Guiselle Bundschen (Brazil)
The incident at the Caribe Hotel
The Secret Service reprimanded
President Obama traveled to Cartagena on Friday 13th, 2012 for the Summit of the Americas. Top secret service elite arrived a week before to check on the spot critical security issues. AF1 took off from Tampa FL. at 14:30 p.m..... but away from regular news, what really happened two night before?
Seems that 'stress,' the search for the 'unknown' and just trying to have a good time got out of hand. Are we men really dogs? Media gets its share and slightly tries to cover up the whole story. Unless we investigate Spanish networks and get a whole deal of an investigation.
Just mix, 88 degrees, a nice beach, some Margaritas, rum, and a few "business cards", and then you are set for the night...or 'till morning do them apart. According to Colombian authorities things got out of hand at the Hotel and reached the high Command. It's not that men will be men, but these things happen all the time and do not make it to our media, unless a 'chick' thought she didn't get paid for her own 'secret service.'
See? this doesn't apply to the saying,"only in America." We hope, sincerely hope that our men's wives don't find out. Ops!
Hasta la vista amigas!
