Colombian Scorts A La Carte -- A Clash of Cultures

We have so much in our head that we will have to take this task on an easy 'mode.'

The news and our media have covered beyond expectations this messy and embarrassing situation regarding our secret service. Well, what could we expect when it involves the not 'so secret' connections in Cartagena; a circus media frenzy, mixing sex, 'knuckleheads' and the thrill of overseas intimacy and unfulfilled dreams... at home. We were about to skip this topic, but we have been to Colombia quite a few times and have seen first hand how they think, breath and live.

Why prostitution or 'Scorting'?

Civil war erupted in Colombia around 1964, when Socialism saw this Country as a possible hub for the 'it' ideology from Communism. well is known that Cuba replaced Batista on January 1st, 1959 and cold war twisted around our political stability (Kennedy and Nikita Kruschev). All seemed alright, but what happens when your grandfather joins a revolution in the early 60's and then your older brothers and uncles also have joined the cause, at the most before 1980? You lack the male figure in the long run. The few men that survived this social cataclysm, saw women as second class objects. Just add drugs and trafficking around 1981. What we have, and sociologist will agree with us, is this Matriarchy that assumes manly responsibilities in order to cover a social gap. Making things worst, Mothers raise their male children to be macho and irresponsible. What happens then, when the father figure is non existent at home?

Entire families displaced -- The modern intra-exodus

Women raise their children the best they can. Girls grow to close the circle and make the same mistakes as their mother's. Lack of love and the dream of having a family of their own push them into having kids to whatever male they can find. Not that they lay anyone, the situation is desperate and in their minds, the only way out is to look for a couple. And as we said before, males know how to talk to their women, and procreate literally left and right. Child support laws are almost non existent in Colombia. There are times when their local Police just look the other way, when they face a marital issue or confrontation. War, FARC (Colombian Revolutionary armed forces), ELN, right wing extremism, trafficking, and even corrupt politicians make this beautiful land or paradise hell on earth. Million of poor modern peasants in Colombia, are threaten by different factions and have to move to better areas (Provinces), where they will try to survive at all costs necessary.

This 24 years old single mom epitomize the average woman that inherited a life out of that violence. Prostitution is fully legalized in Colombia and, we assume that she was approached by this 'modeling agencies' that offered her a better life, and maybe a dream to marry a 'gringo.' If you don't know, she is the 'pricey' scort that brought down the U.S. secret service and their 'dirty laundry.'

Here is what the news have told you. She asked 800 dollars for a night of pleasure. Now there is a lie in here (BIG TIME). Most women with her attributes and well deserved curves won't charge over 250 dollars. Either she wanted to serve a platoon, or she just wanted to 'fork' these 'gringos' with their meatballs and all.

Now, we know that our men lack courtesy and follow the policies taught by the higher commands: You are elite and you are not to be afraid of anything, and you have survived that harsh training down Arlington Avenue. No one can tell you what to do. Your badge opens doors and shut mouths. Foreigners are not better than you and our Country; and you can step on anyone anytime you want. Uncle Sam have your back covered. And you can fire your arm at any obstacle. Oh I forgot: You are to protect your President at any cost... well 30 dollars is too cheap for a night of passion! Am I right Dania?

Now, some of these folks want to kill this 'mother and flower' : Families broken, early retirements and above all, total embarrassment for our Nation. We wonder if the Colombian President was told to stay calm until everything settle... but we guess there is some international etiquette even for this 'hand in hand' situation. We certainly believe and assume that behind Dania there is a faceless hand. Her moves are calculated and smart. She went into hiding a week ago and she is waiting for the best moment to strike back. Is she connected with some Mafia or hidden interest? Is the Central Intelligence job to find out. Our president was in certain danger. These men got so drunk, they even trashed the Hotel. Were these 22 ladies trained to get sensitive information from our forces? Seems that James Bond did a better job 'behind doors.'

Just remember this fact: FARC is considered a terrorist group no better than any middle east foe. We feel sadness for some innocent victims: Wives and their kids...and Dania's son, who might be wondering, where is his little poodle , and why mommy left his adorable puppy behind?

Are we capable to joint the lose ends? If the President needs us, he knows where to find us. Hasta la vista Hermosa Colombiana!
