Purpose of Life Today, And Not Tomorrow...!

Updated on June 7, 2012

Enjoy our favorite melody -- by DJMichael Ortega

Reading a Comment from one of our friends to our oldie inspiration, "If I could start all over again," made us think about our own life and where we were heading to at this right second. Just to warn our friends...is 1:09:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and we feel reloaded and inspired. Sometimes we feel the need to write around this time, and we don't even know the final outcome: Thanks Victoria Lynn for giving us the lead... on this piece.

Purpose of Life Today and not Tomorrow...

Living the joys of today

and not the sorrows of tomorrow

dealing with the pains of yesterday

and not the 'easy life' for the day after tomorrow

Seems that life has entangled our future already

making us feel secure, hopefully forever

messing up ourselves from time to time

Life evolving and striking up night after night

Source

Death caressing our chin and mind

reminding us that tomorrow might come

announcing that our cycle is almost done

but that spark of light has kept him away... until due time

Source

Funny to know that we don't fear tomorrow's tales

stronger and fearless as we grow old

we lived this very second to write this well

Our choices were casted so long ago...

Family that already left this valley of tears

wanted the best from uncertain fears

We know they are up there begging for better days

but meanwhile we have transpired emotions with no end

Source

Living this very infinitesimal defragmented nanosecond of time

slow motion of vivid images left behind

smiling and concocting true words of a kind

transpiring through pondering thoughts that crossed our mind

What we did today and tonight... was meant to be

What we lived right now won't happen again as it did

If we missed to say goodbye to a loved one

life will remind us tomorrow, that it was the last one

Source

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and Mother's day

They came so fast that we need to catch up all over again

Next time around, life will make those 'moves' for us

Reminding us that we have not matured in vain

Living every minute of this past year plus yesterday...

was the best lesson of lives that were there.

Moving in the right direction tonight... and not yet tomorrow

Will remind us that after all, we have chosen love over sorrow

Life can be so short to keep up with the world of tomorrow

Just keeping our convictions and beliefs

transforming feelings through piano strings

Living today, this very second, what tomorrow won't bring...!

Happy to know that we can share some feelings

getting to know our senses this very minute

not waiting until tomorrow to show the meaning of life

reminding ourselves that this very second we can show

a better reason to be alive...!
