So You Think You Cannot Laugh, Seriously
This is just a quick anecdotical incident.
I was on my way home after those eight hard hours at work. Going steady through Interstate Highway 78. I was driving through Springfield New Jersey; I happened to run over a nasty pothole that unfortunately I couldn't avoid and my car swerved slowly to the right. Yikes! I had a flat tire.
Darn it! Luckily I was not going too fast or not even had a 54 footer trailer truck behind me. I started thinking, "If you go straight, the next exit is 2 miles away, and if you want to save time... cross over to the other side and, even if you are taking a reckless action... just give it a try. And just like I thought, I went over a small island divider and quickly turned on the opposite traffic. Opposite??
All seemed smooth and normal, but of course, some drivers blew their horn, and as I suspected, some of them called the cops. Not even two minutes later, or so, a State Trooper pulled me over and did the regular, "License and registration Sir."
After 15 minutes in his Police car, he gave me two tickets, one for reckless driving and another for endangering the safety of other drivers. Wholly molly, 180 bucks for the City.
LEAVING LAS VEGAS?
I was about to leave and take the exit to the nearest gas station... but me myself and I got nervous. Instead of switching to 'D' as in drive....yeah! you've got it!. I.. it was too late. I went in reverse, with a vengeance! MF!(meaning fun..shh) . This was a traumatic experience for this officer, since I saw through my rear mirror in slow motion... how... he was pushed back, with his papers and personal surveillance camera and laptop.
"GET THE ## OUT!"
He got out of his car all mad and came to me. "Are you freaking out of your mind! son of a gun!! Get the 'f.' out of your car now!" I was praying he wouldn't hit me hard. I was about to piss in my pants. "Now, come to the back of your car," he said all mad and fixing his hair up and sweating cold. "Do you see any damage to your rear end?" I said quickly, "no Officer, not really"
He wanted to do me some kind of collateral damage to any area of my existence, but he held back some potential energy was saved behind his fists.
WHAT DO YOU SEE?
"I don't see any damage to my car either.... and you! YOU better leave right now before I change my mind and give you two more tickets; one for trying to kill an officer, and another for trying to laugh in front of me. You...you better leave now...!"
I was like, "is this a nightmare? Did I really want to kill him? No way! It was just another bad day,"
Probably shouldn't have made that move, and that was it. I just sent my payment in the mail with no contest or whatever complain I might come up with, and swore not to do it again.
