The Woman We All Should Respect...!
Early morning, or late at night, her hands stir that running water from an artificial pond. trying to create images of hope and hidden explanations. This has been her only way to calm her fears and anxiety, sitting there with her own self. Her blue eyes show us her soul. We span across that side yard and see five cocker spaniels taking turns to get a pat in their back or... a sweet caress from "mom." We see her hands and we sense and notice a strong woman with a full fledge drive, and strength of her own. There was no other way! She was born in Iowa and had to help raise three younger sisters.
Now those companions start chasing each other to make her laugh. This is a daily scene with screaming, shouting and those unfathomable "Romeo! Come here now!" or the classy one: "Daisy! you pooped on the hallway again...ugh!"
Jogging away just to keep up...
She knew she needed to get away from home and run those four miles a day. Asthma has caugh up with her somehow...maybe is that worrying life. She coudn't take a 'Walkman' anymore, this was 2012. So her niece's Ipod was hand and yould work perfectly.-- Her MP4 was already gone, due to weather and bubble baths.
Running and sweating off toxins kept her with a clearer mind to write. Yeah, a creative writer like any of us. "Gee! That landlord didn't want to fix that hole next to my bedroom," thought herself kind of gone and mesmerized, while pushing those ankles to her last mile. Cars driving nearby and young joggers made her realize that everyday was a new challenge for her. At times she had flashback of precious moments already gone:
Flash Back....
Sioux City
Sweet Home!!
Iowa, Summer of 1966...
Her mom grabbed her hand and was ready to leave this man. The thing is...this is almost her last day with daddy. Her farewell was disheartening. Her father held her, and hugged her for the very last time without knowing it. Daddy's girl was being taking away by mom. Enough was enough with that alcohol for God's sake
This minute in her existence changed her life forever. Her trademark (((hugs))) was born on this very evening. While driving away, mom Ritah started thinking of ways to raise 4 girls, and that was a challenge of tough love coming into the picture until the her mommy's very unwanted end...
Fast Forward.... back to 2012.
She made it home for a rewarding shower. Being inside that tub, her mind gave her ideas for lingerie articles. Her wisdom was and is still remarkable. Just meet an woman from Iowa, an she will "love you bunches." Those long hours of studying to become a Nurse paid off after all. She knew her mom did her best to raise them. Yeah! They say girls are hard to raise, and sure they are...! (Even with FaceBook and HP).
Stirring through and soaping around... ops! made her feel like a princess; her 'Cinderella like bathing' made her find out that... she forgot to feed the dogs "ugh!" She totally forgot her main duty. However, luckily, her only son took care of that... an hour before 'mommy's arrival.'
Her heartfelt embracing love toward her son could've left you speechless. Actually she recaptured her very deep unfinished hug with her father. Being gullible was her sweetest trademark as well. But what else can you expect from an angel?
A Divorce
No more 'til death do us apart for 2011, or those 50 years wedding anniversaries. Her divorce was painful... and at times, after she found peace, she saw her son as a blessing in disguise. God was unreachable and she was mad at him for so many reasons that had no explanation at all.
"How could he?" She was a wonderful woman, a caring wife and an intelligent walking beauty; practically all went down the drain. She thought her marriage was for life, and wanted to celebrate a wedding anniversary pretty soon. "Life and happy endings are not real life...," she thought.
She had to reorganize her own living and made sure to mend the untied endings in her own heart, a broken one indeed. Deep inside she still loved him (She is from Iowa, ya know?), but she had to let go. There was no way to go back to a fake life, next to an almost uknown man. "Will never be a doormat again!" That was said for so many reasons, and she was learning the hard way. Was God there for her? Was he really on her side?
The Doors Were Closed for Her...
Whenever she thought she hit rock bottom, she was reminded again, that her Cinderella days were over. Financial freedom was almost nonexistent. She remember her mom's day fighting those terrible snow days and dust bowls. She knew problems would always arise, and she was ready to fight with all her might and intelligence. She did survive and made it through. All we can say is... she deserves respect and the best from life!
Being a woman and pretty are not necessary a good combinationl for success. Actually she works in here. We pay a tribute to this wonderful soul, who changed our lives for good. She might want to kill us, but we wrote this from our hearts. Do you believe in angels? Well, this tribute was written for an angel. There are no words to express... our thanks to her. Even though she was struggling, she was there for so many of us.... do you know who we are talking about?
Can you guess who we were talking about?
After you voted, here is the answer:
Yeah! Is....
AEvans, our dearest sister. I ask everyone to comfort her heart. Her last hub, tell us about the pain she cannot bear at times. She is a wonderful soul indeed. Sometimes she would give what she doesn't have. She loves animals and would love to save them all from the streets. Her life has been tested, and we know she needs a warm hand or touching words from any of us. Deep inside Julianna is a little soul that feels helpless at times... and, she has the sweetest smile you can imagine, and without a doubt she can kick some as**.
Thanks for reading this hub, and do not tell her about this tribute!! She would kill us by flagging us down (kidding.) On August 21, please send her a note or some warm comments : will be the 2nd Anniversary of mom Rita's departure. Thanks for being there for her...!
