Where Is God? Why Am I Suffering?

Being ourselves, and coming up with this question, we can conclude that there is a God up there. We don't even know how this hub is going to end as usual...

If you are up there! Why did you let my kid die so young?

If you are that God almighty why are you letting us suffer?

God knows what's better and what's best. If we suffer is because we have been born with that original sin. No one can escape death and falls short of his Glory (Warning: these words just came into our mind...)

But, still we have wars and we still cannot make a decent living?

How come he is like sitting on his throne and just letting it happen?

Did you mean he is disconnected from us? He is perfection and all has a meaning. Things have to happen for a reason. We have free will to chop those enemies down in Monterrey Mexico. We have free will to run scams... and we have that free will to cover up events from History...!

We don't seem to come to him until we hit rock bottom. He is letting us know that if we stubbornly want our way, he will let us experience the consequences, even for eternity (hell?)

We don't think he is up there

We more likely are a by-product of stellar dust!

Well, who can explain the Universe and its infinite volume? What's beyond that infinite? Who can explain gravity going beyond that Newtonian Formula? How come we cry and laugh when we feel things and emotions around us? How can we come up with that Calculus and that hard math?

I still think God is an invention of man!

Sure! You are right. God is represented by that bearded old man with the look of wisdom, but God is more than that. If you don't believe in a superior being, then you just learned to philosophy out of nowhere. You certainly love your mom or that someone that cared for you. Don't you just cry sometimes for some news on TV?

Can you answer me now? Why we have to suffer then?

The human race gets closer to God by faith and strength from within. Suffering is allowed because of that. We still can see Steve Jobs last tears before passing to a better life. Somehow he understood it all at the last second of his life.

When we suffer, we tend to help others and show them that we were down that pit of hell (on earth) We say it again, there is reason for everything, and some are beyond our understanding.

If God is 14 billion years old, then just think about!

Picture our age compare to his. How can you compare yourself and your understanding to the level of the creator of all? For God we are those little 3 minutes old babies, who barely can put a simple word together. Not even a clear sight of colors (Warning: these words came from somewhere in our minds...)

Still, I'm mad at him!

He knows every move we make. He knows our thoughts, and he certainly knows that we were made to his likeness. If you feel like he is mad at the world. He is! By getting mad ourselves we are just condemning our future and whoever is around us. If he sent this 'begotten son' and let it die for us, is because he wanted to make a connection and make us understand him better. Just think of this: In order to leave a comment on this hub, you needed to sign and type a username and a password. Links... spiritual links are much deeper than that Highway to Heaven episode. And we don't think we have touched by angels in order to right this hub. If your read our profile, you will read that there is a reason for us to be here... and we don't even know. We feel used at times!!

If we feel like we are having bad luck, just think of that little boy dying of yellow fever somewhere in Africa. We have drugs, we have armament dealers and Human trafficking. Do you think we are smart enough to avoid his punishment? Do you honestly believe that this 'dead beat dad' and some (all) Politicians are going to inherit that Heaven?

So we need to get closer to him? I want to but...

Listen pal (gal), We wrote this hub from nowhere. Actually we are not Church members, and we just felt inspired by... (we think,) it was his word. And we are not trying to be preachy at all. We just came up with that title header and.... we caught up with some food for thought.

Still I don't believe in God!

Well, we wish you luck!

Where is he anyways?

Was this hub inspiring?
