I was young and not so dumb

you were a year older my dearest blonde

Wish I was a year older to show you I was the one

you just chose the older dude, a damn Navy Seal

Everytime I turned 14 or 15

you were already 15 and then 16

wasn't able to catch with you

dancing near your window

to show you the real me

Pants too big, skinny and not so strong

but with a heart that now you wish you had

where was that tenderness that you gave me in dreams

waking up to see my dog licking up my nostrils yuck oh please!

now I'm older and mature enough to blow your mind

but your presence in tender years made me strong

not ready to give up my own world

accepting the way I am...dear Susan

Sensitive enough to write poems about you and me

thanks to those early experiences that made me unique

I guess my platonic dream was just a wishful thing

thanks anyway for still having me as a friend

As the melody goes, I was a child with tender thoughts

walking my own walk as you passed me by

not old enough to arouse deepest feelings inside that mind

but I tried and tried, and broke my back doing that break dance

Cool enough to be who I am

a guy who can have fun and dance

with no refrain when the beat pumps up that jam

finally I let it out in this inspiration of mine
